Monday Made It- A NEW blog!

Today I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Made It Monday! I am really excited about linking up today.  I haven't made much this week, but I'm thrilled to make a special announcement!

My special announcement and first 'made it' is my new blog!  While I didn't personally make it, this is my first post with the new design.

My friend Kristen at Design Infusions worked hard at transforming my old blog into this beautiful masterpiece.

You can also find her on TpT at Design Infusions and Schroeder's Stars.

Here are a couple of screenshots of my old blog that I grabbed with my phone.

I was using a generic blogger background and format.  I tried jazzing it up on my own, but was highly unsuccessful!

The other item for Made It Monday is something I actually made.

Last week, I was part of a discussion on storing anchor charts.  I usually tape my anchor charts to hangers and hang them on a pocket chart.  If I need to reference one, I pull it out and hang it up in front of the class.  If students need to see one, they can go to the chart stand and pull it out.

Another person stated that they take pictures of them and store them in a photo album.  I thought that was such a great idea, especially for kids who need to have them at their seat.

While I was at Walmart, I grabbed a small photo album and some glitter tape to see what I could make.  The photo album was only 94 cents but I'm going to try to find cheaper ones before making a class set.

We are doing a Hollywood/Movie Star theme next year so I made a label that says "Famous Anchor Charts" so it's similar in appearance to an autograph book.

You can click here to get a free download of the yellow cover and black/white image.

The photo album I bought had a removable cover so I taped the image to it.  I really liked the gold glitter tape!

I really love being able to work outside on a warm summer day!

I like the way the zebra print shines through the tape.  If I make these for a class though, I will probably just make a 4X6 image to cover the whole thing.  This one was a prototype.
